What Is Causing Pain In My Throat?

Hi. I have a problem for a while now. I get pain in my throat. Like scratching and not from the inside but frontal neck area ( around thyroid and lymph nodes on roght side) I have been to the doctor but they didnt send me for a diagnostics of any kind. ( i had reflux for a while but antiacids helped with reflux but not with a pain in the neck) What could it be? As it worries me a lot. Many thanks
