What is mildly abnormal EEG, demonstrating slight excess generalized theta slowing consistent with mild diffuse cortical dysfunction, such as may be seen in diffuse degenerative disorders as well as toxic metabolic encephalopathies. For informational purposes, I am not a diabetic nor am I on any medication to treat diabetes. My grandmother died from complications of Alzheimer s and my father (grandmother s son) was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer s at age 52. He died from complications of Alzheimers also.
