What Is Mother Patch?

Hi, a few years ago I experienced an awful rash through out my entire body. I had what the doctor call a "mother Patch" and the rash just grew from there. had it for 8 weeks exactly and then it was gone. Stress, low immune system…. I cannot remember the name of this condition. Wondering if you can help?
