What Is Piece Of Skin Attached From One Side To Another After Childbirth?

Hi, i gave birth 4 week ago on sunday & i had to have stitches. Ive looked
Down there for 1st time & doesnt seem right to me. As i try & open my self up insteadnof been one hole it looks like two & i cant check my self. Its like a piece of skin attached
From one side to another. Is this all part of healing? Im freaked out!
