What Is The Bloating And Strange Sensation In My Stomach?

Hi. I'm a 21 year old female. I've been feeling a little bit bloated for the last few days. Sometimes I feel just fine. I have a feeling my problem may be gas. If I drink soda, I have no problem getting burps out. Then throughout the entire day, I'll burp just a bit and its so tiny and hard to get out. I lay down and occasionally will feel my stomach and feel little lumps or something, thats why I believe its gas. But the other day I had this feeling in my stomach. It didnt hurt. Just some strange annoying feeling like I know something is going on. My mom told me it may be a cyst? She's has one before and told me to wait til my next period because it will go away. I don't have the funny feeling in the stomach as much as before. I guess its not even there anymore, it might just be in my head. But I would like to know what someone may think .. ?
