What Is The Brown Round Spot On My 12 Years Old's Breast?

I have a 12 year old daughter who has a brown round spot on her left breast. It started as what looked like a freckle but as she begun to developed it seemed to get bigger. It itches sometimes while she is in the shower it sometimes stings. It has a dot in the middle but is not a bug bite any suggestions?
