What Is The Cause And Treatment For Panic Attacks?

I am having anxiety attacks when I am driving out of town on country roads. I start getting a dry mouth and gets hard to swallow and I feel like I can t breathe even though I know I am. I get shortness of breathe and when I try to swallow I feel like I am going to choke. I know I start thinking about being away from help or hospitals and feel like if I started choking etc I wouldn t be able to get the help I need and will die. I get to the point that I have to turn around and get back to a safe place... This has cost me a job in the past and impacting my ability to visit friends out of town etc. What can I do?
