What Is The Cause And Treatment For Yeast Infection?

I have a yeast infection, a cut inside my vagina, and I'm on my period. Last night I took a home treatment for my yeast infection and today when I took a shower and I had mixes of white stuff from the treatment and chunks of bloody hard rubbery stuff falling out.. What in the world is going on?! I've never had a yeast infection or a cut before..
