What Is The Cause Of Not Getting Period Without Taking Ortho Tri Cyclen?

hello, i have been on ortho tri cyclen for a while now. the last few months i didn't take it becuase to be honest i dont have a period without it. i have recently met this very nice man and am planning to get married:) i want to start a family so in conlcusion my question is this. how can i pregnant if i don't ovulate unless i am on birth controll?
