What Is The Cause Of Swelling In Mouth, Cheeks And Salivary Gland Area?

I have swelling in my mouth/cheek/saliva gland area as well as my back gums. My wisdom teeth were pulled in 1999 and I have a numb/tingly feeling and swelling FEELING in my neck as well on left side only. I am on antibiotics for possible gland infection in the jaw area. It's been 5 days and not getting betting. it started at Christmas. Today I found a lump in the posterior area of my neck and a smaller one higher up. Are the doctor's missing something. thyroid test were fine, cbc is ALL good...white blood count is normal. Prior to this I was in a car wreck 4 mths earlier and suffered neck injuries including a herniated disc w/a tear. My left arm has been weak, numb & tingling since the accident. I worry about a stroke.....Any idea what i should have the doctor's check for??? Thank you :)
