What Is The Cause Of Swelling In Temple?

My sister is experiencing a swelling over her left temple which she says feels like a bruise. Also when pressure is applied causes her eyes to hurt. She doesn't tell me everything that's going on but I know she has been feeling nauseous lately (sporadically, ruled out pregnancy etc). Was wondering if you might have an idea. She works hard but I don't think it is stress related as there have been no recent changes.
