What Is The Difference Between Econazole Nitrate And Ketoconazole?

Can you please tell me what the difference is between econazole nitrate and ketoconazole? I was prescribed the first for skin rash and have run out, but have some of the second one that was prescribed for a different rash by a different doctor and am wondering if there are similar enough that I can use it.
