What Is The Difference Between Ichthyosis Vulgaris And Ichthyosis Aquisita?

What is the difference between Ichthyosis vulgaris and Ithyosis aquisita? I am 64, female, and deal with fibromyalgia but manage it pretty well. Have been thru breast cancer, treatments and also parathyroid removal. Have very dry skin & have developed the Ichthyosis condition but know very little about it except my dermotologist said I have the lesser degree of it.
