What Is The Mass Of Tissue Discharge From Nose?

I just sneezed a mass of tissue out of my nose. I think that its a polyp (although I didn t know I had them!). Do I need to see my GP, or will it be fine now? I m actually a medical student, but was totally shocked when I sneezed and found a mass of flesh in my hand.
