What Is The Procedure For HSG Test With Tilted Cervix?

I ve had an ectopic 6 months ago and trying to conceive since then.My obgyn recommended an HSG TEST.I went to do an HSG test at Stanford and the doc said he can t do it coz my cervix is tilted upward and cannot insert the Catheter?He said it may need to be done by an obgyn using an instrument to tilt the cervix and done under local anesthesia.Is this common?How do other women with an upward tilted cervix get this test done?
