Hi I have a sister that went to the hospital with pus coming out of her nipple. the drs. went in and took out some of the pus sacks. then went back in a couple days later and cleaned out more. Two days later they took off her right breast. They said she has squamous carcinoma cancer. We don t know what stage as she was too weak to take any lymph nodes. She has been in ICU for going on 3 weeks now. She has had 3 pints of blood as her hemoglobin count was low . Before they took her right breast off, her white blood count was over 95,000. After surgery, it appeared to slowly come back down to a normal range, So they tell us. Communication is limited. Can you give me any input on these events and the diagnosis? Thank you for your help.
