What Is The Purpose Of Siphene And Folic Acid Intake Prior To Follicular Study?

Hello dr last three months i had taken cabergoline 0.5mg to reduce my prolactin level from 50ng/ml now it is reduced t0 1.45ng/ml. my question is now i had advised to take T.siphene-100, decdan 0.5mg & folic acid tablet for 5 days from my 4th day of periods.after taking these tablets,she asked to take a follicular scan.. for what purpose this is taken pls let me know?
