My husband 57 has a carotid body tumor 2.7 x 3cm, he s had MRI s, MRA, Angiogram. We know that it must come out. Radiation & Surgery are his options, they plan to do embolization. How long does surgery take since it s hard to find doctor s who ve actually done surgery on CBT s? What is the recovery time - how long before he ll be able to return to normal routine?
