What Is The Red Streak On My Arm Near The Cut?

I am a 36 yr old female and i had a fall 7 days ago when i fell a glass broke and cut my arm. the wound was cleaned and bandaged up. however the bandage was far to tight and the next morning my hand was swollen. the swelling went down after an hr or so. the cut seems to be healing but ive noticed i have still a red streak on my arm near to the cut. im not sure if this is infection or just a mark from the tight bandage that has not yet vanished. my arm is not sore, although if i sometimes by accident knock the wound then it can hurt. i would appreciate your advice.
