What Is The Relationship Between Vitiligo And Anemia?

My 7 year old daughter was just diagnosed with vitiligo at Sick Kids, after our pediatrician and dermatologist indicated it didn't appear to be vitiligo to them. Additional blood work has highlighted low ferritin (score of 10). Is there a relationship between vitiligo and anemia?
