What Is The Relationship Of HBP And The Aftermath Of

What is the relationship of HBP and the aftermath of a person having Shingles? Could Shingles cause HBP? My wife did not have HBP before having Shingles a few years ago, but now it can only be controlled by medication. I've read some say the Shingles could effect the adrenal gland, which in turn could affect the blood pressure. What's your take on this?
