What Is The Sensitive Mole On The Side Of My Neck?

Hi. I have a mole that's on the side of my neck. It's very sensitive to the touch. It's symmetrical and only a bit smaller than a pencil eraser. It's brownish/red. My only concern is that it hurts. Sometimes i scratch it off and it forms a scab and grows back. Is this something other than a mole?
