What Is The Swelling In Tonsil And Palate Of My Mouth?

I have fluid dripping from what feels like the right side of my throat. It seems to collect and leak... if that makes sense. My right tonsil is larger than the left, and the roof of my mouth seems swollen. It s not painful all the time, but seems to be an ongoing situation. Could it be an abscess?
