What Is The Treatment For Occipital Neuralgia?

hi there, i have quite often experienced a feeling of like electric shocks in my head for many years, sometimes as many as 36 in one night, but recently i have started to have it happend during day when i am awake, is this normal or should i b concerned, i am not afraid of them but sometimes they r sore, i now also know when they r going to happen. any advice please thankyou
