What Is The Treatment For A Cyst In The Urethra?

I am 17 and became sexually active 4 years ago but have experience painful sexual intercourse for the past three years. Recently, I have noticed an abnormal growth under my urethra, at the top of the vaginal opening, inside my vagina protruding outwards. When I have looked at it in the mirror, it is covering the actual opening to my vagina. I can also feel it from the inside and it feels about an inch in length going from my urethra downwards and about a quarter of an inch inside my vagina. I just recently noticed it, but it was not there before. It is not painful to touch but it isn't a smooth texture. I am extremely scared to go to a gynecologist and have never been. Is this a normal growth? Or is it a cyst of some sort?
