My Mum was recently rushed inter hospital with abdominal pain. She had a MRI scan the day before as she had a suspected cyst on her ovary.
To cut a long story short her 10cm cyst had internally bleed, over a course of 9 hours at the hospital (no diagnoses was made in this time) she fitted then had a cardiac arrest. She was rushed for surgery and they cyst was removed. She had lost her full volume of blood and needed a transfusion.
We were told that the cyst they removed didn’t look cancerous by 2 surgeons. My Mum has been recovering but recently received an appointment letter from Oncology to discuss a treatment plan.
We are now worried that there is cancer there and she will need further treatment.
