What Is The Treatment For A Sharp Pain In The Back And Head?

I am on day 5 of a very painful back injury. I did nothing in particular. I lost my balance and fell to the left and felt a sharp stabbing pain in my back that made me immobile for almost two days. I cannot lower my head without a sharp pain traveling up my spine. Over the counter meds are not helping and I feel I am retaining water.
