What Is The Treatment For Alopecia Areata Patch In The Pubic Region?

I have an alopecia areata patch on my pubic region. I am 35, female, and never had this happen to me. My diet is healthy on, and off. I smoked off and on for 2 years. I am quit now for 2 months. My brother has alopecia areata ... very patchy on scalp, some on eyebrows/eyelashes & chest. He smokes and drinks, and his diet is very poor.



My question is will I get Alopecia Areata on my scalp? I noticed the patch in pubic region on March 1st, nothing on scalp now. Please let me know your professional opinion. I have seen 2 dermatologists, and they said I have to wait.
