What Is The Treatment For Blackheads?

Hi, is it worth me visiting my doctor about blackheads? i am 24 years old and have a lot of blacheads on my face, i have tried many methods to treat this but still have trouble. My skin is also very dry and i have to apply cream daily. I thought this might be the problem so stopped applying this completely, but this had no effect. Thanks
