What Is The Treatment For Calluses On The Hands?

i have calluses on my hands and nothing makes them go away. i tried pumis stones and all it did was irritate the non callused skin around the calluses. my calluses are about the size of an eraser on a pencil and there are several on each hand. i went to a dermatologist and she told me to go see a psychiatrist and that i need one immediatly. its not psychological, i dont pick at them at all, so i dont feel i need to see one. so the dermatologist is out. what can i do
