What Is The Treatment For Chronic Telogen Effluvium ?

I have recently been diagnosed with chronic telagon effluvium and wanting to know if anyone knows how long this will last as it has been occurring for the past 4 years only getting worse in the last 12 months and is very stressful. Was told to go on Rogaine but as it is a long term use I'm a bit wary of this and am hoping there may be something else I can do to help this problem.
