What Is The Treatment For Cold And Ear Discharge?

I have a severe cold but I had to fly out of town today. Now I have fluid in my ear that I can hear and feel whenever I move my head. Is there an OTC medication I can use to alleviate this? It is very painful. I haven't taken anything for it yet. Thanks.
