What Is The Treatment For Cracked , Itchy And Painful Penis?

my boyfriend thought he had a case of jockitch a couple of months ago and then it proceeded to get worse..the foreskin of his penis is cracked and peels..it's painful and itchy..when we have intercourse he has to quickly go take a shower afterwards because it itches so bad..we have tried over the counter treatments and the AZO yeast to take orally..what should we try and is the a case of male yeast infection? How come it does not affect me?
