What Is The Treatment For Enlarged Bald Patches?

hi my name is janelle my husband is currently getting bald patches. he is 24yrs old. the back began as a small patch then became a great big one. Now I am noticing at least 3 more patches in between his braids. He is hispanic and his hair is at the end of his back. the braids are never tight . This is a first weve never seen this before. but i have to admit he internally stresses alot about life. But whats going on.?? Is all his hair going to fall?? Why this cycle even start?? what can we do to stop this process. Is there a treatment,pills,medicine, herbs, ointment or anything?? I want to help. Please help me. Should we go to the hospital??
