What Is The Treatment For Groin Pain?

I have had pain in my groin for 2 weeks now, it does not seem to be getting any better and I have no idea how it started/what triggered it. There is no swelling or redness, it is just pain n the groin and occasional pain in the thigh.I went to an osteopath a week ago who said it was a strained adductor, I also got it checked out by a doctor who also thought it was muscular and said it wouldnt be a DVT as no swelling redness or heat was present... but I am still scared. Am I being paranoid? the only risk factor i have is the pill...
