What Is The Treatment For Headache And Coughing?

My 6 yr old complained of a headache Sun and Mon. With weather changes and past allergy issues I figured it was just allergies. Yesterday he was coughing a lot upon waking up. After his asthma inhaler and some cold meds he was much better. Last night he was up all night though coughing. I gave him his alburterol inhaler along w/cold meds again. That didn't help. He started complaining his left hear hurt. Then awhile later said ear was better but left cheek hurts. This morning his left cheek and eye are a little puffy and he's crying saying how bad it hurts. No ear pain though.
