What Is The Treatment For Heavy Bleeding?

i am 35 yrs old. past 15 days i had been bleeding profusely.it has stopped by medicines by doctor. now advised to insert copper t . i have 3 kids and ligation also done. can i not get my uterus removed since i always have trouble with my menstrual cycle ?
