What Is The Treatment For Irregular Menstruation?

Hi i'm 24 yrs female...1 yr back i got married.before marriage my periods are irregular but after marriage my menstrual cycle is regular about 6 months ....now my periods are irregular ..doctor has advised folic acid 5 mg. tablets from this month . is there any chance to get pregency?.
