What Is The Treatment For Itchiness In The Head?

this sound digusting but my head itches so bad it is driving me insane and has been for months. I have treated myself for head lice a number of times but this has not fixed the problem. I brushed my hair very hard last night over the sink and a tiny clearish worm apeared in the sink!! What could this be?
