What Is The Treatment For Losing Hair Pigmentation?

My daughter who had a major op. three years ago and has been left with her lymph system being severly compromised......she has picked up various infections since then,and now her deep red hair is losing pigmentation,this I feel is not general greying, could it be a lack of some kind of vitimans or hormones??????...
