What Is The Treatment For Open Wounds In The Armpit After Using A Deodorant?

I am 16, 240 pounds and 5'6. I only have high blood pressure. Anyways I had open wounds under my arm pit for months (I'm guessing it was the deodorant I was using) and now they are gone. I'm not even sure why they were there is the first place. Any clues? They are gone know but I am left with hideous scars! I never raise my hand up because I am so insecure about it. What should I do to get these scar away! Any cremes or should I go to the dermatologist? HELP! Thank you.
