Hi,
I am a 22 year old female weighing approximately 19st (obese) and standing at 6ft2. My job is very demanding and I feel that I do alot of exercise, but once I'm home, I feel burnt out and spend most of the time in my bedroom, catnapping.
I have recently been feeling lethargic, experiencing a lot of fatigue but being unable to sleep properly, waking at silly hours in the morning. I have had a constant cough which sometimes makes me unable to sleep at night and I wake up and get the feeling like i can't breathe, then I start coughing. This happened a few nights ago. I went to bed with the slightest of headaches, then woke at 4am coughing and with a headache I have never experienced before. (persuming migraine?) I did eventually manage to fall back to sleep with the help of Vicks and Decongestant Spray as I suffer from a constant blocked nose. Over the past few days it has worsened and I suffered the "start" of a panic attack whilst out shopping in a local supermarket, of which I dropped everything to get back to my car. I have this tension/pressure in my head that hasn't gone away since and still quite shaky and anxious due to my incident in the supermarket.
I checked my blood sugars this afternoon which were 6.3mmol and my Blood Pressure was 134/100 with pulse rate of 74. I am persuming it was high due to being nervous (which i still am).
When I was 16, I experienced an incident which cut my confidence in half, resulting in being agoraphobic for about 2 years, visiting psychiatrists, having cognitive behavioural therapy, but I don't think this has any relevance to the above.
Any advice would be really helpful.
Thankyou
Hannah
