What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Collar Bone And Chest?

Ive been noticing the last few day, a sharp pain in my chest a couple inches below my collar bone and above my breast. It hurts when i breathe in, cough, laugh, and certain ways i lay. Its hurts to put pressure on it in any kind of way. It went away for a day or so but now its back. Any ideas what this could be? I don have hereditary high cholesterol and not that it matters in this case brain cancer runs in every generation down from my fathers side. I hurt my back a couple years ago and recently was experiencing neck pain but thats all been okay but now this?
