What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Hip?

I am a 28 yr old female and for several days have experienced a pain just above my right hip. The pain is similar to a bad bruise but there is no mark at all; the area is painful to even the lightest touch. I have no other noticeable symptoms other than feeling slightly swollen/bloated but am concerned as to the origin of the pain.
