What Is The Treatment For Severe Arm Pain?

I fell yesterday and landed on my left side. My arm is having pain in certain positions/movements but what really concerns me is that I can not straighten my arm. Not because of pain, I am physically unable to move my arm into a straight position. Not sure if I need an x ray or something. It is not swollen at all.
