What Is The Treatment For Severe Headache And Body Pain?

My husband has an excruciating headache along with severe body aches. The body aches feel like its in the bones not the muscles. No fever, no swollen glands, no nausea, no congestion. Any viruses out ther like this or could this be something more dire?
