What Is The Treatment For Severe Headache?

Today, I had a real bad headache for over 6 hrs. I took 2 extra strength tylenol and it got rid of it within 30 minutes. About 3 hours later, my vision got really blurry. I couldn't see well at all. My sugar level was normal 129. My blood pressure was 140/109. I went to the ER and they did a cat scan which came back normal. He said I could do a lumbar puncture to make sure there was no anurism (bleeding) on my brain. It was my choice. I didn't do it. I have really bad panic attacks and now I am scared that I should have done the lumbar puncture. Do you think I made the right choice. I do have trouble concentrating at times but I have been under alot of stress.
