What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Sore Nipple?

i scratched my nipple and it became very swollen and sore. i went to see my GP and he told me it was infected and put me on antibiotics. I am on the last day of my antibiotics and my nipple is leaking quite alot and looks vey big and red. Is this the antibiotics working.
