What Is The Treatment For Tattoo Scabbing?

I am a 48 yr old male. I keep getting scabs on a tattoo that I got 3 yrs ago. They sometimes go away and then come back pussy and then dry. Also, if I get a cut somewhere, it takes a while to heal Could this be due to an underlying medical condition? thanks
