What Is The Treatment For Throat Pain?

Hello my son has been having problems with is throat or neck since he thought he may have swallow his own toe nail he bite it off and he thought it was logged in his throat though he was weeing or choking he says he felt it in the back of his throat for some time its been 3 weeks and he' s still concern that something is in his throat or neck
he's constantly rubbing his neck area where his thyroid gland is ,I don't know what to do
